Padre Wrestling Club

"A Club dedicated to developing kids and wrestling in San Mateo County since 2005"

The Padre wrestling club is a USA Wrestling licensed club.

It consisits of wrestlers from many schools in the San Mateo area including but not limited to Serra, Hillsdale, Aragon, Carlmont, San Mateo and Burlingame High Schools as well as Abbot, Bowditch, Boreal, Charles Armstrong, IHM, Parkside, St. Matthew's, St. Gregory's and St. Timothy's grammar schools.

The club is open to anyone age 8 or higher who has a current USA Wrestling card. We practice at the wrestling mat room at Serra High School in San Mateo, CA.

Our Fall Schedule is K-8 October 20 to November 17, 2008 Mondays and Wednesdays on 5-6:30pm.

Our Spring schedule is K-8th Mondays and Wednesdays on 5-6:30pm March 11-May 9, 2009 and high school age Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:15-4:45pm March 9- June 8, 2009.

Our Summer Schedule is Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm in June and July 2009.

We participate in many Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Folkstyle tournaments in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.

All coaches are Bronze Certified from USA Wrestling. The main coaches are: Michael Klobuchar, Ricardo Garcia, Harold Lorber, Dan Vogl, Steve Heimuli, Bob Marshall, Geovanny Aguilar and Mark Allen.
